Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The search has begun for the 2023 Ruler of the Festival! Will it be you?
Make a $5 donation to support our Shakespeare Festival production of Taming of the Shrew and your child will be entered into a drawing to be Ruler of the Festival with our thanks!
On May 25th at morning ceremony, one student's name will be randomly selected from all donations. The student who is chosen will be crowned with The Festival Crown in front of the school and will be allowed to wear their crown all day. Just before 1pm, the student will be shown to the Royal Throne (an extra comfortable seat seperated from the normal crowd in a position of honor). They will also be offered a Royal Snack that they may enjoy throughout the show. Finally, the Ruler of the Festival will have the responsibility of commanding the actors to perform for them and the school!
This is a truely unique viewing experience that has never happened at Lacordaire before!
Students may not purchase tickets online; a parent must do so for them. One $5 donation (see ticket section) equals one entry. Please indicate the first and last name of the student who the entry belongs to at checkout. Also, indicate if your child has any food allergies at checkout. The value of the win is $0 but "priceless" to whomever might win!
